Kim Bauer-Newlon Obituary

Kim Bauer-Newlon, age 31, a resident of Colorado Springs since 2012 and formerly of Marengo Illinois passed away on January 3, 2015 after a brief illness.  She was a radiographer, a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend.

Kimberley Ann Bauer was born on March 28, 1983 in Elgin, Illinois to Donn and Cindy (Reuter) Bauer.  She was a 2001 graduate of Marshall County High School and attended West Kentucky Technical College.  She enjoyed photography, the outdoors, nature and especially loved music.

She is survived by her husband; David Newlon, her children; Austin Newlon, Aidan Newlon, Aria Newlon and Axis Batts. She is also survived by her parents; Donn and Cindy Bauer of Aurora, Kentucky; her sister; April Luu of Peyton, Colorado, and her brother; Gregory Bauer of Jacksonville, North Carolina.  She has a niece, Lelani Luu and a nephew, Koa Luu.

There will be a memorial service held in the spring for a scattering of her ashes. The service is tentatively planned to be at the Garden of the Gods. Every effort will be made to contact all friends and family thru social media.

She will truly be missed.
