Kim Cockrum passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 55. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado for 50 years. Kim was born on January 5, 1968, to James and Gladys Ross in Phoenix, Arizona. She was a credit manager and homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Jason Cockrum; daughter, Tiffany; sisters: Lisa and Kay; and granddaughter, Brooklynn. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jim and Gladys.
Kim was a caring and loving person who was passionate about spending time with family. Her open heart made her a very giving and charitable soul who would not only give monetarily, but she would give her time and love as well. She was the love of her husband's life. They were married 28 years and were not only partners in life, but the best of friends. She adored her loving father throughout her life. Kim and Jason also loved their fur babies, Walter, Stewart, and Bob.
A private inurnment will be held at Shrine of Remembrance on October 12, 2023. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations sent to the COPD Foundation at www.COPDfoundation.org.

I´m at total shock and sad to hear this, Kiim was a really nice sweet person that would talk to my sister and I and sent us cards and always wished my father a happy birthday and she even sent flowers to my sister when she had surgery a few yrs back , she was just a all around good person and her husband was nice person too , so sorry for his loss and may GOD wrap his arms around him and comfort him in the coming days

I remember our late night phone calls before and just enjoying every minute of talking. She was my best friend and I'm so heartbroken She will be deeply missed. My thoughts and Prayers go out to her husband and family.
