Kip Linebarger Obituary
He was a retired real estate broker for Freedom Mortgage Company in Colorado, attended First Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class, and was a founding member of the Nestor Haven Band in Colorado Springs, CO.
Kip is survived by his wife of 39 years, Donna Lee Good Linebarger; three children, Mondi (Andy) Kirby of Lawrenceburg, Kerri Tracey of Tulsa, OK, and Kelly (Wanda) Bynum of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren, Ashley Dodson, and Alexandria, Mitchell and Mason Kirby; and one sister Kathy (Ronnie) Ralls of Wichita, KS.
Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 21, 2013 at First Baptist Church with Dr. Robert F. Ehr officiating. No visitation. Gash Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions are suggested to First Baptist Church Scholarship Fund, 111 N. Main St. Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.

My dear Kip, almost 10 years in Paradise now my wonderful Hilltop Manor, Wichita Kansas, friend from long ago. Wonderful school and summer baseball memories. Unforgettable. So glad I got to chat with you on the phone a few times, sadly not enough, before you left us. Godspeed Kip, and again, thank you for sharing a part of your life with us/me and the wonderful memories from long ago. Again, unforgettable.

Kip was one of my dear friends in grade and high school. We played team baseball several summers and Kip was a very good pitcher and hitter. Last saw him at Beech Aircraft circa 1967/68. Chatted on the phone a few time after 2000 and now he is gone. Godspeed Kip, and thank you for sharing a part of your life with me, and the wonderful memories.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you Donna and your family - I have some very fond memories of going to listen to the Nestor Haven Band here in Colorado Springs. Those were the good ole" days!!
