Kirby Smith Obituary
He attended Park Street Baptist Church and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1967. Kirby resided in Santa Barbara, Calif. for his entire adult life. His vocation was interior and exterior painting, and he thrived in nature as an avid outdoorsman. He loved to go camping and hunting in the mountains of California with friends. He often traveled to New England for family gatherings and was a devoted son, brother and uncle.
His mother, Harriet Smith of Concord, survives him as well as his niece, Deidre Tao of Massachusetts, and his nephew, Liam Sullivan of California.
A private family memorial service will be held.

Sorry to hear of Kirby's passing. I was in the '67 class with Kirby - it was the best class at PHS! Some great times and wonderful memories. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs Smith, Sorry to hear of your loss of Kirby. I was in Nancy's class and was shocked to see she has passed also. I will always remember Nancy and my trip to NYC and what fun we had in high school. Praying and sending my sympathy. Beth (Rogers) Collins
