Lana Jo Hansen (nee Watson), 74, of Elmhurst, IL, passed away at UC Memorial Central Hospital. Lana completed vocational training in cosmetology in California before moving to Colorado in the mid-1970s. She was primarily a homemaker and mother until her divorce in 2001. Lana lived with an undiagnosed chronic illness, including a seizure disorder, for most of her life. She was known for her determination and selflessness despite decades of medical interventions. She enjoyed music, fiber and needle crafts, and word search and crossword puzzles. Lana is preceded in death by her mother, Norma House. She is survived by her three children: Jennifer (Hillsborough, NC), Joshua (Colorado Springs, CO), and Jeremy (Denver, CO); and her grandchildren, Annalisia Hansen and Braed Taylor. No public services will be held. For inquiries, please contact her daughter, Jennifer Hansen.
