Lara Taylor Obituary
Lara was born July 29, 1970 to Jerry Lee and Patricia Morris in North Kansas City, MO. She is a 1988 graduate of Park Hill High School.
Lara adored her son, Jacob and enjoyed spending time with family and friends; especially in the comfort of her home. She was an avid athlete and took pride in staying healthy and staying in shape. When she was not at home with family, you could easily find her working out at the gym. She enjoyed her three cats and horse. Lara's favorite flowers are yellow roses and white lilies.
Lara was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lee Morris in 1995. Survived by her only son, Jacob Taylor of Colorado Springs, CO; mother, Patricia Pembridge and her husband, Paul of Kansas City, MO; two brothers: Randy Morris and his wife, Debbi of Gloucester, VA and David Morris of Kansas City, MO; best friend and sister-by-heart, Jen Clarke of Kansas City, MO.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Harmony Vineyard Church, 600 N.E. 46th Street Kansas City, MO 64116. A Memorial Service celebrating Lara's life will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Rev. John Brown officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to a Trust Fund to be established for her son, Jacob Taylor.
Memories of Lara and condolences to the family may be shared at meyersfuneralchapel.com Meyers Northland Chapel in Parkville has been entrusted with final arrangements.
