Larry Boggess Obituary

It's been 7 years. Still miss you. Still praying for you. Fly high Mr. Boggess.

So many year later, 2020, I have accidentally found this obituary. I knew Larry Lee from the first week after his birth. His dad was my dad's navigator back at Lincoln Air Force Base in Nebraska. To his family, I offer my condolences and I'd like to say that my parents loved your family. Both are gone now, of course.

I was saddened to hear of Larry Lee's death and my prayers are with all of you. I have not seen my cousin for many years but he holds a special place in my heart and in all his cousin's hearts. He had the most infectious laugh, the best ideas for adventures (& mischief) and a wonderful ability to make others happy. He will be missed. Peace and blessings dear cousin.

I miss you so much, my darling son, you were and still are the light of your Dad's and my life,too. Just to hear your voice and your teasing ways is so hard to bear not to have that. I call your phone just to hear your voice and I hope your Dad leaves that turned on for a long time. It is a small comfort to me, I just like to hear the sound of your voice.Always in my heart and every day thoughts, I love you so much..........Your Mother

Meeting you 35 years ago has left an imprint on my heart that will last forever. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing me sunshine on my cloudy days. The little diamond that you (and Janet) gave me before we parted ways in Nebraska now dots the I in my name on my dogtag. You'll always be hanging around, Larry. All my love to you in your new journey. May you rest well, my friend.

My beloved son, I do so miss your voice, your teasing, just knowing I could pick up the phone and talk to you, now I call your phone just to hear your message in your own voice, I hope that stays on for a long time as it is comforting to me. He taught me to laugh. He taught me to never let other people determine my worth. Most of all, he taught me that anything was possible if I wanted it bad enough. I'll love him forever and I'll remember him as so many will...as a guy with the biggest and most giving heart...the person that everyone wanted to be around. Rest in peace Larry.
