Larry Corey Obituary

Larry Corey, 75, of Georgetown Texas, passed away on December 3, 2012. He was born on October 28, 1937 in Canton, Illinois to George and Eva Corey. Larry is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Patricia Corey of Georgetown, Texas; two sons, Kenneth Corey of Falcon, Colorado and Brad Corey of St. Augustine, Florida; grandchildren, Brendan Corey, Breigh Ann Corey, Trent Corey, and Andrew Corey; and his brother, Jim Corey of Bartonville, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his son Trent Ethan Corey. Larry grew up in Peoria, Illinois and then moved to Bartonville, Illinois in his later teen years, where he met Patricia. Larry joined the Marine Corps and was stationed at Twenty Nine Palms, California. He has always been a proud and loyal Marine. Upon return from California, Larry married Patricia, and they began a fifty two year love affair, filled with joy, adventure, and travel and having a family. They moved to the mountains of Colorado in 1978. While there, they shared many wonderful days traveling, hiking and enjoying the outdoors with their family and dogs. Larry and Patricia moved to Sun City, in Georgetown, Texas in 2010. Larry will always be remembered as a loving husband, rarely leaving Pat's side, a loving father and a true friend, filled with humor and support.
