Larry Heidt Obituary

Larry Dwayne "Big Larry" Heidt, age 55, left this world on February 21, 2006, to be with his father, Lucas Heidt, and daughter, Trisha Heidt. Larry was born on January 28, 1951 in Clarkston, Washington. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged. Larry was loved by everyone who knew him. He had a heart of gold. He liked the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a dog lover and never went anywhere without his faithful companion, Misty. He is survived by his mother, Joy and step-father, Tom Kellough of Washington State. He is also survived by his daughter, De Anna (and husband Jimmy) Stringer; grandchildren: Dante and Alina, all of Colorado Springs; brother, Gary (and wife, Chris) Heidt; nephew, Lucas Heidt; step-brother, Tom Kellough, Jr. and family; and step-sister, Angie Kellough, all of Washington State. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2006 at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. There will be a second Memorial Service later this year in Seattle, Washington at the Floral Hill Cemetery. The memories of Larry will always be in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

I have known Larry for almost 25 years, he was a great guy and a good friend. He will be greatly missed. He will live in our memories forever and he has left me with many great stories to share with others throughout the years.
