"Be quick to forget what YOU DO for others and never forget what OTHERS DO for you!"
Larry was born in Lancaster, California to Laura Mae (McAdam) and John Kirk Johnston, and passed in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was an adventurer, philosopher, linguist, theologian and marketing/ management genius. Quite certain that Spanish was the language of heaven, he would often quote great Spanish philosophers and poets.
Larry was an internationally known development and management consultant, trainer and coach, lecturing and consulting extensively throughout North America, Europe, Latin America and Asia. Larry spent his entire adult life working on behalf of non-profit organizations to help the less fortunate.
Larry, a believer in Jesus Christ as God's supreme revelation of his goodness and redemptive power, is survived by his wife of 53 years Rebecca L. Johnston, Joshua Johnston (son) and Erin Johnston (daughter-in-law), granddaughters Mackenzie Taryn, Sierra Grace, and Elyssa Rose; Laurie Ann Lusk (sister), and a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Taryn Lindsay Johnston in 1989.
