Larry Lee Kauffman was born to Clarence F. and Martha Anna (Liese) Kauffman on September 2, 1944, near Gruver, Texas. When he was 12 years old, Larry gave his life to Jesus and was saved. Larry took his last breath and entered his Savior's arms on December 1, 2025 @ 1:25 AM.
Larry married Lena "Irene" Woodard on June 4, 1965. They had 3 children: Stacy, Rhonda and Sean.
Howard Payne College B.A. degree Physics/Math, 1967. In September 1967, Larry was hired by IBM and worked for IBM/Loral/Lockheed Martin with 42 years, retiring November 2009.
Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." (NKJV) This verse gave Larry the encouragement and strength he needed to be a faithful husband, father, and Christian man.
Left to mourn him are his wife, Irene Kauffman, 3 children, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandsons, 2 brothers.
Welcoming him "home" are his parents, Clarence F. and Martha Anna Kauffman, his 4 brothers and sister.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Cross Fellowship Church on 10915 Black Forest Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80908.
Contributions in memory of Larry L. Kauffman can be sent to Cross Fellowship Church's Annual Mission Offering.
