Laura Janca, age 66, went to be with the Lord on December 18th. Laura was born and raised in Omaha, NE. She is survived by her mother Julee Janca and sisters Linda Janca, Cheryl Janca, Peggy Choquette, and Eva Richardson, along with many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
She lived many places before settling in Colorado for the past 15 years. She enjoyed spending time outdoors - hiking, biking, kayaking, and taking pictures of flowers. She also had a love of domestic pet rabbits and fostered many for the Humane Society.
A memorial service will be held on January 13, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 219 E Bijou Street. Laura donated her body to science and will have her ashes spread in the Colorado mountains.

A great person. Love that I had the opportunity to work and share a friendship with her. Her fight with cancer was amazing. She is an inspiration. I hope all her family members take the time to only reminisce on the good times and keep her memory alive. My best to all.
