Laurie to her family and friends passed away April 10, 2024, in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born February 23,1968 to Marta Storey and Ronald Storey in Wichita Falls, Texas. Laurie was an Air Force 'brat" and traveled to many places with her Air Force family including assignments to the Philippines and Hawaii. She made many lifetime friends during her travels and was well known as an Apartment manager in the Colorado Springs community. She is survived by her sons, Matthew and Austin Wilbanks of Colorado Springs, parents Marta and Ron Storey, and brother Chris Storey of Norman, Oklahoma and Spouse Richard Ludwig Colorado Springs. Per her request there were no services.

She was best mother anyone could ask for. She did everything she could to help my brother and I any time she saw that we were struggling with something. She always spoiled us with gifts, even when we asked her not to. Mom, I love you so much and miss you every day. I know you are still looking out for us.
