Lawrence E. Overholser (Larry), 82, of Falcon, CO., passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on February 18, 2025. He was born on October 20, 1942, in Limon, Colorado to Lawrence Sr. and Anna Overholser. Larry was a graduate of Colorado Springs High School in 1960 and went on to play professional baseball for KC Athletics. He enjoyed hobbies such as Pikes Peak Hillclimb racing, Colorado Hill Climb Association (CHCA) racing, goldmining, softball, golf, hunting, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Shirley Overholser, his three children, Steve Overholser (Tiffany), Rich Overholser, and Nancy Shanklin (Shawn) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, his five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Overholser Sr., his mother Anna Overholser, and his sister Charlotte Dean. A celebration of life will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to Tunnels to Towers, www.t2t.org , or Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org, in Larry's name.

I spent a bit of time in the garage with Larry, Corky,and Dave as they worked on the race cars. Larry was always a light hearted and funny man. Rest in peace.

Larry was a great man. I have a lot of fond memories growing up watching him and my dad race cars as well as do business together. All the good ones are up in heaven racing together now. Sending all my love and prayers to you all.
