My mother was always a great listener and nonjudgmental to all within her sphere. She taught at the high school I attended where I was never embarrassed. My mother was a great lady. Nanette

Gram, I will miss all the times we had together as a family. I only wish my kids could have known you better. You were the greatest Gram anyone could ask for.

Gramps, we love you and are thinking about you daily. Our prayers are with you. I can only hope that Travis and I can even have a small percentage of love for eachother that you and Gram had. You guys were a great example for me and my family.

Love your granddaughter, Nicole

Col. Black....my fondest and best wishes to you on the passing of your wife. As a prep school graduate (1967), I got to know you and had the pleasure of meeting your wife. Five years after graduating from the academy, my wife and I were baptized members of the church...it was amazing to me how many wonderful people I came in contact with who were church members. It is our wonderful legacy to know we can be together forever as families. My best wishes to you and your family and thank you for your support while a cadet.

Dear Lee and daughters 3,

How I loved dear Leah! We shared alot during visits. I made her talk with me and loved every minute of her wise wisdom and nonjudgemental attitude. We shared memories of books (once I had her read one that I liked and it was kinda racy...we laughed about that), kids, and gospel ideals. She was a treasure and left a wonderful legacy. Love to you, Pam Infanger

As concerns that bond which reaches back across the generations from teacher to student, from exemplar to the developing mind, from grandparent to child, Leah is eternally connected to each who has been so blessed by her loving guidance, counsel and friendship.

She will be missed, but only for that short moment in God's reckoning of time "till we meet again."

Leah, I shaved my beard last Sunday and regret I didn't get to see your smile when you saw it gone.
