Served with SGT Gross in early 70's. Was most kind hearted NCO in my unit at that time. I will always remember how he would correct fellow troops the pronunciation of his last name. SFC Gross had his hands of a master mechanic, always sleeves rolled up and traces of oil and grease.

Dear Doreen and all,
I am saddened to hear of Lee's passing. We knew Lee through Paul and Marcelle Taylor. We spent several evenings at your house while your dad worked on my husband's (Gary Taylor) car in the late 70's. Your dad was a very kind and generous man. Our deepest sympathies to all of you.
