Leda was on of my great aunts and such a special woman--always so interested in so much. I will always remember her kind smile and her easy laughter. I'll miss going to visit her when we go to Colorado. I have fond memories of visiting her from my childhood (when she lived with Mayme) to more recently, after she moved out of the bungalow she had first shared with Mayme.

Leda was my "favorite aunt." This was I always said to her when we visited by telephone. This was our inside joke, because she understood that she was the only one left of her generation in my family or my late husband's, her nephew, Leslie Burris. I will miss getting to chat with her.

I was a neighbor for years, when I was a little girl, up until I married in 1957. My parents loved and cared for Mayme and Leda in many, many ways ... they were Ray and Orva Ebeling. We lived right across the alley from them.
I am so sorry I didn't read of Leda's death until today as my husband and I would have attended the service.
