Brian Sanford Lee, 33, of Philadelphia, PA, died on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at Chenango Lake, South New Berlin, NY following an undiagnosed genetic heart condition.
Born on April 27, 1992, in Colorado Springs, CO, Brian was a son of Sanford E. "Pete" and Lynn (Larivee) Lee. Brian attended the Bijou School in Colorado Springs, and continued at St. John's College in Annapolis, MD. Brian graduated with a PhD in physics and math on June 7, 2025 from the University of California-Riverside. Brian loved solving mathematical equations, was a champion skier as a youth, enjoyed reading, music, and traveling. Every summer, Brian, vacationed with his family at their ancestor's cottage on Chenango Lake, in their ancestor's, the Gladding family.
Brian's survivors include parents, Pete and Lynn Lee, of Colorado Springs, CO; brother, Robert Lee, of Philadelphia, PA; sister, Amanda Adamson, of Colorado Springs, CO; aunt, Dori Reiley, of Venice, FL; and dear friend, Sierra Dombayci, of Los Angeles, CA.
