Lee Britton Obituary

Lee Edward Britton, 67, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014, after a courageous battle with leukemia.

He leaves Mary, his wife of 28 years; five children; 14 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; eight siblings and many close friends and relatives.

Lee retired from the Military and Colorado Springs Utilities. Upon retirement, he was an avid golfer and hunter.

A funeral service will be held on January 5, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Dove-Witt on Hwy 85/87.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on his behalf to the Denver Fisher House.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Britton Family, I am very sorry for your loss. Lee was a great man, with a very kind heart. During my time at Fort Carson I truly enjoyed getting to know Lee. He was always there with a helping hand or encouraging word. Lee will be missed.
