ZOLNOWSKI - Leon A.
Passed away suddenly at home on December 23, 2021 in Colorado Springs, CO.
Born in Buffalo, NY on August 8, 1931.
Beloved husband of the late Eugenia L. (nee Sanchez) dear father of Susan (Bill) Taylor,
Janet (Ben) Mangos and Gregory (Beverly) Zolnowski also survived by many beloved
grandchildren and great grandchildren which he kept tabs on as often as possible.
Retired from the US military after serving nearly 40 years in the US Army he achieved the rank of
LtCol and had received numerous honors and awards throughout his military service.
After military service he continued employment with Lockheed and then EG&G before retiring to Colorado.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to your favorite charity.
Funeral to be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery 3698 S Sheridan Blvd. Denver, Colorado on January 18th at 2 PM
