I was an employee of Mick's in the 80s . I enjoyed working for him my alcohol problem caused my leaving. I am now sober and clean of drugs. He was a very fair and good person. I would like now to apologize for my wrongs. I a family member reads this please leave him a prayer for me. I WILL do the same for all you and Mick.

Dearest Caryl and Family - it is almost a year since the amazing man who was your husband and father has been gone. I am heart sick that I lost touch with you all. Mick treated me as a daughter when no one else did. He will eternally be very dear to me as you all are. May good bless you and keep you.

I am so sorry to hear of Mick's passing. I am going to the 55th reunion of North Central and was hoping to see Mick there. In high school Mick was all everything. He was a great athlete and admired by all. Best wishes to Caryl and all of Mick's family at this time. Sincerely, Bob Sletten (NC class of 59)

Caryl,
I was so sorry to learn of Mick's passing. I'm glad we were able to share some time together reliving N.C. days with Mike Dunn, MaryAlyce Alford and Rita Watkins a couple of years ago on my patio. May wonderful memories of happy days sustain you in the months and years ahead.

I remember "Mick" from high school days and beyond (Colorado). He was the person who invited me to a Young Life event in high school where I heard about Jesus. I didn't get it then but the seed was sown and five years later I can to know the Jesus that Mick was trying to introduce me to. Mick was one of the guys I most respected in high school and I know he lived out his faith over the course of the rest of his life. I look forward to seeing him again in that place called heaven where all those who put their faith in Jesus reside. Mick, thanks for leading the way.
