The consummate pathologist, his knowledge and skills in his profession exceeded only by his love for family and friends. Bill will not be forgotten. We so appreciated the telephone call and are thinking so much of you. God bless.

Esther, Kevin, Dale and Julie;
We are most saddened by the passing of your husband and father. In the 20 plus years I worked with Dr. Halling at Hays Pathology Laboratories I encountered his love for his profession and how he was always on the cutting edge of technology and the continuous encouragement he offered in supporting the staff in their endeavor to learn more; not only for their own personal benefit but for Hays Pathology Laboratory as well. You never left Dr. Halling's office without him challenging you to learn more. He was a true believer in teaching and allowing staff to come up with solutions instead of giving solutions. He was a great mentor and will be missed by many. A fond memory will always be the magnificent Christmas Parties he hosted in the basement of Hays Pathology Laboratory. Our deepest heartfelt sympathies are extended to your family.
