Velia Kanaday Obituary
BISMARCK -- Velia D. Kanaday nee Hedrick, 92, of Bismarck passed away February 22, 2016. Survivors: Step-daughter, Lahoma J. Kanaday Creed; son-in-law, Magnus Creed; her beloved cat, Adinga; sister-in law, Lora Kennedy; several nieces and nephews; friends; and the biological mother of Lahoma Kanaday Creed, Minister Brenda E. Straub (Weinhold). A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. May 14, 2016, at Bismarck United Methodist Church, 906 Mulberry Street, Bismarck, Missouri, 63624.
