Leonard Stewart Obituary

Leonard Jesse "Stew" Stewart, age 81, a long tome resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on August 29, 2007 in Colorado Springs. Stew was born on December 10, 1925 at Walsh, Colorado, a son of the late Clarence and Leona Dodge Stewart. He was a veteran of WWII and Korea, having served with the Navy and the Air Force. Stew was a barber and an artist and a sculptor. He was a member of Manitou Lodge #68 in Manitou Springs and Past Master of Masonic Lodge #188 in Woodland Park. He enjoyed gardening and growing roses. Stew was a Baptist by faith. Stew is survived by his wife, Marilyn Stewart, a son, Leonard Nelson Stewart, two step children, a brother, three sisters, three grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Manitou Lodge #68, 455 El Paso Blvd. Manitou Springs, Colorado.

To My Loving Family, Butch, Jesse, Kelly and Colby,
I know "PAPA" is smiling down on you. I feel your pain, your hurt and I love you very much. You had your special moments with him and you need to hold them near you.
Butch, I am so sorry for your pain. I will be here to love and support you in any way I can. Hold dear to the times you had with him. They are so precious. I KNOW HOW MUCH YOU LOVE HIM.

Dad, I will miss you. We might not seen eye to eye at times but we did have our times together. I remember going hunting together and looking for geodes. I enjoyed being around you when I was younger. I will always will Love you no matter what. Your son Leonard
