To the Allen Family, I only knew LeRoy a short time through Shirley, and in that time I found him to be a sweet and gentle man. My sincere condolences goes out to the entire family. Rest in Peace LeRoy. My deepest sympathy for your loss Shirley.

Today, while waiting to pick up an order for food I'd no real interest in, I picked up a newspaper, to pass the time. Gave up reading the news, or watching it a long while back. Opened it up to the picture of Le Roy. It's been many years since I saw that face. He and my pops were close. From Evinrude to the Rumpus room. Im sure his warmth and charm will continue to be missed by many, and I'm grateful for the chance to see that winning smile once again. I'm so sorry to hear of your loved and deepest condolences are extended to you. Something that's helped me through the death of loved ones is to reflect on 1 Corinthians 15:26.

LeRoy was always quick to greet me with that huge smile and a big hug. I'm thankful to have grown up next to him and Shirley, and for the friendship - true friendship - he shared with my parents. His gain is our loss. Prayers for Shirley, family and friends.
