Dear Nephew, It's been 14 years and I still think of you most every days. You would be real proud of your two sons. Not as tall as you but by only a inch or two. Love always your Aunt Marcia.

Three years and one month. Seems like it was yesterday that I was visting you in Denver. You sure would be proud of your two boys. Adrian has graduated and is working at Wal-Mart. Christian is really getting big and loves playing football. I hope to see him play at least one game this year. I have been fighting cancer for the past two years. But I am free for now. So, I guess that I will have to wait to come and join up with you. Remember that I love you very much and miss you more and more every day. Love DAD

Gene; I never really did meet you in person, but I got to talk to you on the phone. We talked about many things, I told you how much I love your momma. Poor momma! I wanted you to come up here in August and spend time with us. Right now you are in my heart and soul. I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. But I know I will see you some day in Heaven with the Lord and momma and to say that you are a good man and that I finally got to meet you in person.
Love You;
Gary

Oh Gene; What can I say? You are my first born and my first to leave the nest. You have always been special to me. Although I loved people before you and since I met you (on Nov. 18, 1968) I will never Love anyone the way I Love you. You have always been my first real sweetheart and you will always be my sweetheart. I know that you have done things you weren't proud of, but that is all in the past and you are with your heavenly father and he will take care of you until the rest of us get there to join you. I wish I could explain exactly how deeply I Love you and how very proud I am to call you my son. What it always did to lift my heart when you called me Momma when you were little and then Mom as you got older. I can hardly wait until I see you again and give you a great big hug.
I miss you so much! Some day I WILL see my sonshine again.
I LOVE YOU SON

Gene, I sit here at my computer and am crying for the wonderful brother I lost here on Earth. I know that God knows what is best and I know that you are no longer in pain. I also know that God will bring us together again in His time. I love you so much and cry for the things you did not get to do while still on this Earth. You are such a special person and anyone can see why God would call you home early. I hope you know how much you were loved here on Earth and that we carry you with us always. We Love You So Much. Love Christina

Six foot six he stood on the ground
Weighed two hundred and thirty-five pounds
But I saw that giant of a man
brought down
By a thing called Love
He was the kind of man
that gambled on luck
Look you in the eye
and never back up
But I saw him crying
like a little red pup
Because of Love
You can't see it with your eyes
Hold it in your hands
Like a wind it covers our land
Strong enough to rule
the heart of any man
This thing called Love
It can lift you up
It can put you down
Take your world and turn it around
Ever since time has ever been found
This thing called Love

Gene I am glad that I had to opportunity to watch you grow up for 37 years. We had a lot of good times over those years. Some of them I have told to the family and friends. Some I don't remember, but when someone else says something that I think of it. You brought a lot of joy to my heart and I was very proud of you and proud that you called me your father. I will miss you very much. But I realize that you are in a better place. Some day we will be together again. I LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU!

Although your life on earth ended much too soon, you live on through your family and friends. May they be blessed by memories of the love and life you gave them when sorrow fills their hearts. You will live in and through them now and in the future.
