Ms Burr was always one of my favorite teachers, every time I spell a lot I can't help but hear her rant that it is two words. She was one of the best mentors I had in middle school and the best teacher anyone could ask for.

I taught with Letty at Holmes Middle School. We coached Foresics together. I know that her students at Coronado loved her. That is the best tribute to any teacher!

I will always remember Ms. Burr's laugh and the A Lot is two words lecture. I will also remember how she called me kiddo or Speedster when I would roam the halls in my scooter. She was an amazing teacher. May she Rest In Peace with God.

In the brief time I worked with Letty, I knew her to be a compassionate educator who demonstrated empathy for her fellow colleagues and students.

I will always be able to imagine Letty's laugh!! I always enjoyed talking to her. The loss of Letty will ring throughout the halls of Holmes and Coronado for a long time.
