I really don't even know what to say, I'm at a loss for words. My heart hurts to hear you are no longer within calling distance. You are my friend, my mentor, the well known comedian, hunter and chef. I always thought you should have opened a Restaurant. I strongly believe you are the only guy in this entire world that always had a ten course meal for lunch.
The following items were as follows: Beer Butt Chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, corn on cob, chili pepper, can of Squirt to wash it all down, followed by a piece of fruit, and can't forget the piece of chocolate. He also had salt, pepper, hot sauce, and other cooking spices. Yes everyone, he ate it all. Till this day, I still can't figure out where he put all that food. :)
Lewis-Thank you and Marsha for coming to our wedding, having us over for dinner and inviting us to hang out with you. It was great to hang out with such kind hearted, giving, positive, intelligent, wonderful people. You will be remembered in my heart forever. God Bless!

I too worked with Lewis during my years at Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services. I am so surprised to hear of his passing. He was always a pleasure to work with and I always knew that things would be taken care of if Lewis said he was going to do it.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time in your lifes. May the memories you have of him stay with you and fill your hearts with joy in the future.

I will miss the annual chats we had over the past few years. Like jean said, although miles and years apart, Lewis was a part of our growing up years when he was stationed in Virginia and would spend time with us on the weekends. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Marsha and Marty,

Lewis was a lucky man indeed, to share his life with two such wonderful people. My thoughts and love are with you during this time of grief and adjustment, and indefinitely thereafter. I too am blessed to have the two of you in my life.

Lewis - May you rest in Peace. Miles apart and still the memories of growing up are with me. Once we became adults and moved on with our lives we were out of touch for a long time....and then the WONDERFUL Christmas letters starting arriving each year. I will miss that. I got to spend a few hours with you about 6 years ago when a business trip took me to Denver and you made your way to spend that time with me. I will cherish those hours forever. Your cousin Jeanie Mills.

Family - May the fondest memories of Lewis help guide you through this most difficult time.
