Lillian Harrington passed away in peace on December 9, 2014, in San Ramon, California.
Lillian was born on April 8, 1923, in Oakland California. She married the love of her life, Jack R. Harrington on September 28, 1946. He preceded her in death in 1996. Lillian and Jack moved to San Leandro from Oakland with their eldest son Richard in July of 1953, where they lived for the rest of their lives. They were blessed with two additional children, Jack and Jill. Lillian was a devoted wife and mother. She was the fifth of eight children born to Joe and Nora Senna. Six of her siblings preceded her in death, leaving her only loving sister Vivian Chimpky of Hayward.
Lillian is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Richard and Rea Harrington, son and daughter-in-law Jack and Carole Harrington and daughter and son-in-law Jill and Todd Richards. Seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild also survive her. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends will miss her. The family would especially want to thank her caring, loving and loyal best friend Evelyn Mederos, all the wonderful and caring personnel at Villa San Ramon, and all the Vitas Hospice personnel and their extremely giving organization.
