Aunt Lillian, I have many memories of you. I remember visiting Colorado with our boys when they were young. You took us sightseeing in your big car. We were up in the hills between Garden of the Gods and the Air Force Academy and you had to turn the car around on a dead end road. What an adventure! On that same trip there was a surprise party for me in your backyard with all my cousins. What special memories I have! You will be missed. We love you.

You have always been an inspiration to me. You read to me, taught me to make healthy choices, and you've given me a variety of exposures. Music, reading, exercise, the arts, crafting, gardening, laughing, loving, etc. Thank you for sharing with me the zest you had for life, and your support of
God in our lives.
I will always love you Mom.

I learned many treasures and life lessons at my mother's knee. She taught me to live fully, laugh much, strive for the best and not to be afraid to go for what you want. Mom loved to do so many things and excelled at everything she tried. Thanks, Mom. I love you.

We'll always remember Lillian for the funny things she did. We'll never forget about the time that John was painting a room in their house and ran out of paint. He handed Lillian a paint stick with a sample of the paint that he needed to complete the job. He asked her to "go buy some of this". Lillian left and was gone for a long time. When she finally returned she only had the paint stir stick with the sample of paint on it, but no paint. She told John she had gone everywhere and no one had a paint stick with that color on it. We will always remember her for the funny things she said and did. She WILL be missed and her light will burn forever!

Mom,
I was driving home from school tonight and thought, “What a wonderful time of year Spring is and how you loved it.” You would be getting all of your gardens ready, cleaning all the flower beds, preparing for new growth, new blooms and blossoms, new life…and then I thought what a perfect time for you to go home. You told me so many times that you wanted to go home. Happy Spring, Mom! New Life! What joy I have for you and as my tears fall…I will miss you, but will see you in so many things, through all seasons, but mostly in the Spring. I love you, Mom
