Linda was my oldest First Cousin on the Lewis side of the family. I had not seen her since her dad passed away. Does anyone know where Scott is?

Remembering a Beloved Rocky Mountain Insight Meditator
RMI's dear courageous Linda Lewis died Wednesday morning, February 12, 2014. Linda, one of the most mindfully present people we have ever known, lived the Dharma moment by moment through four years of cancer treatment and the discomfort of physical pain most of the time.
Her conscious practice of involved dying, all the way from an ethical will to arranging loving care for her last days set Linda apart from most. Never hesitant to clarify what she needed and wanted, Linda was fearless in her open discussion of what she was going through without any drama or over-attachment to her story. Not that she minimized her dying process, she just didn't lose sight or the heart for the bigger picture of life as well as death. Linda still acknowledged and showed concern for the living, asking how our lives were and wishing us freedom from struggle even though she struggled endless moments of pain.
An inspiration of mindful graciousness and a true Bodhisattva, we at RMI honor Linda's life and death and will miss her sweet smile and strength.

My condolences to you, Chris. My husband and I have been friends with Linda for at least 35 years. She has been my confidant, trusted friend, sister, sharing our deepest feelings together, laughing and crying together. I am tearfully missing her. She was a one of a kind person and I am changed because of her. We were both fortunate to know and love her. We are already missing her but know that she is now living in joy.
