Dear Matthiesen Family,
I was so saddened to come across Linda's obituary. I was working with Linda over 31 years ago at Penrose Hospital when she was diagonsed and remember her pain, her dissapointment, her struggle... yet she remained strong, optomistic and cheerful through everything. I lost track of her when I moved and have often thought of her. May God grant you peace and comfort in your time of sorrow.

Dear Steve and Family,
We so admired Linda's strength and perseverance through all the years of her illness.

We send our sincere condolences for your loss.

Linda was one of the most positive people we knew and we will forever remember her laugh and delightful giggle and her easy manner. To be in her company was to feel special and cared for. Let us all hope that we can learn from Linda's dedicated spirit what it is to love family and friends so much, that we can endure all to stay with them just that much longer.

She was a force to be sure.

Linda has left us all a huge legacy of love which can guide us through the rest of our busy lives. She will ever remain an inspiration to us and she set a challenge for us to remain hopeful and positive even under the most trying of circumstances.

With Love and Admiration,

Mary Helsaple & Neal Williams

Dear Steve & Family,

I am so sorry for your loss. When you lose a spouse, part of you dies, also. Moms are incredibly special people, and it's obvious Linda was an amazing lady and special mom and grandmother.

You and your family are in my prayers. May the Lord comfort you all in a way that only He can.
