Linde Seider Obituary

Sieglinde (Fuchs) Seider lived the Bavarian Spirit and always lived life to the fullest. Linde, as loved ones knew her, although mild in character, fought to the end - her life cut short battling cancer. She died July 19, 2017 at 80 years old.

She filled our hearts with laughter and sweets. Her homemade cookies were confectionary delights. Always classy and fashionable, Linde loved going to church on Saturday night, frequenting the mall and celebrating holidays.

Linde was born in Wolnzach, Germany on October 9, 1936. At 19, she married an American soldier, Robert R. Seider, with whom she celebrated 61 years of marriage. A beautiful son, Bobby Seider, was born to this union in 1962. As an Army wife, Linde spent many years traveling around the world and settled with her husband in Colorado Springs in 1984.

Before cancer she had an active lifestyle spending many weekends either hiking or snow-shoeing with friends. Linde was thoughtful, generous, and honest to a fault. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Linde is survived by her beloved husband, Bob; son, Bobby; daughter-in-law, Lori; grandson, Sean; 2 brothers, Rudi and Walter Fuchs; and 2 sisters, Marie Lemons and Terry Herrmann.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Linde Seider's memory to the American Cancer Society.
