I knew Lisa from work. I always enjoyed her positive attitude even during the most difficult times. She was a wonderful person and an inspiration. I'll miss her. She is at peace now. God rest her soul.

I first met Lisa in the Spring of 1997 at an Extradition Conference. What started out as a professional relationship soon grew into friendship. Lisa was dedicated, working relentlessly to bring fugitives to justice. She was known to many of us as an expert in extraditions. I will never forget her voice, that slight southern accent which endeared her to all who met her. I will miss you.

I've known Lisa since she started working for the D.A.'s Office thirteen years ago, and it was four years ago that we became good friends. She was a welcome, wonderful addition to my family. I can never remember a time that Lisa didn't greet me, or anyone else, with a hug. She loved everyone unconditionally. Before her illness, she told me how much she admired my strength, and wished she could be as strong as I was. Little did she know that she possessed all that strength and so much more. Lisa never complained, but continued to live her life the best she could. She faced everthing life threw at her with her head held high. She taught me how to be a better person.
Whenever I would start to tear up, she'd hold me and tell me it wasn't time to cry yet. It's time now. I will miss her always, and I will forever remember her strength and carry it with me throughout the rest of my life. How fortunate I was to have known her. She holds a special place in my heart.

Lisa was one of the most beautiful, intelligent, and strong-willed individuals I have ever had the pleasure (and HONOR) of knowing. Her beauty, wisdom and humor made her stand out in a crowded room. I believe that her love of life and undying devotion to family and friends were personal traits that we could all aspire to. She was a shining example of the best in all of us. Lisa, you will be loved and missed forever.

My Dear, sweet friend was the best friend one could have. I am truly blessed with memories to last a life time. She had uncondtional love for all and could make me laugh even through my tears. She was a strong determined lady with a brillant mind and wit. I had the pleasure of holding her hand til the end. Her spirit will live on in my heart forever.

Lisa was a friend of the heart. Through the ups and downs, we were friends for 46 years. My life was changed forever when my family moved next door to Lisa and her family. Our lives were intertwined from that point on & I will miss her love & friendship for the rest of my life.

A friend is one to whom one can pour out all the contents of one's heart, chaff and grain together, knowing that the gentlest of hands will take and sift it, keeping what is worth keeping, and, with the breath of kindness, blow the rest away.

Lisa, I am honored to have got to know you. You are brillant! And I learned a lot from you. I remember the day you received your diagnosis and we cried together in disbelief. My thoughts are with you and your family.
I will miss you...

Lisa always had a smile and a hug for me no matter how she felt, and usually a few kind words. She will be missed.
