Lloyd Adrian Manzanares of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, the son of Harold Maxaminio Manzanares and Phyllis Joanne Calvo. He was born on December 22, 1970, in Oakland, CA and grew up in Lafayette, CO. He married Shayla Lynn Manzanares on March 21, 1992, in Boulder, Colorado.



Manzanares had a 21-year career in law enforcement. Working different departments including El Paso County Sheriff's Office, and CSPD Narcotics & Intelligence Unit. He was a decorated Police Officer receiving a Medal of Valor, Purple Heart, and a Life Saving Award. Following his career as a Police Officer, he was actively working as a realtor for Blue Picket Realty. He was very active in his community coaching teams, sponsoring events, and helping various organizations. He loved spending time with his family, and friends doing outdoor activities. Adrian loved to travel around the world. He enjoyed coaching and watching his children play sports. Adrian loved smoking cigars, drinking whiskey, and listening to country music. "He lived life to the fullest, and was adored by everyone that knew him," according to his family.



He is survived by his wife Shayla Lynn Manzanares, three children, Darren Adrian Manzanares, Marcus Andrew Manzanares, and Marissa Augustina Manzanares. A brother, Eric Calvo of Colorado, and a sister, Tina Manzanares of Denver, Colorado. He was proceeded in death by his parents.



The Funeral Service will be held at Rocky Mountain Calvary, 4825 N. Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80918.
