Lois McCarty Obituary

Lois Eileen McCarty July 13, 1935 - Sept. 12, 2007. L. Eileen McCarty died September 12, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband Bert E. McCarty 40 years earlier, and by her brother Bob and sister Dorothy. She is survived by a daughter Bernita McCarty; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Nancy McCarty; 2 grandsons, Luke and Seth; 5 brothers, Charles, Phil, Gene, Richard, and Larry; by 2 sisters, Phyllis and Beverly; and by numerous nieces, nephews and In Laws. Eileen was born in Iowa on July 13th, 1935 and moved to Colorado Springs at a young age. She had many different jobs over the years, but loved none more than being a wife, mother and friend. She will be sorely missed by all. Eileen had a life with much adversity and trials, but wore a smile through it all. She counted herself a wealthy woman and she possessed a heart of solid gold. Remember the smiles! A Visitation will be held on Sunday Sept. 16th from 4-7 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held on Monday Sept. 17th at 2:00pm at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel.
