Loka Greenleaf Obituary

On August 14, at the age of 90, Loka Greenleaf went to live with Jesus Christ in Heaven.

Loka was born on July 28, 1927 in Bloomington, Illinois to Leonard and Evelyn Blakeman, and she was their only child. Loka went to the altar as a young girl and gave her life to Jesus.

Loka worked for many years for her wonderful friends, Cindy and Don Meyers in Normal, Illinois at Allstate Insurance. She also worked as a barista in a bookstore, and sold high-end cosmetics and perfumes in department stores. Loka was a skincare expert and it showed in her beautiful and flawless skin.

Loka loved roses, old movies, babies' feet, champagne and McDonald's mocha frappes with a shot of vanilla.

Loka is survived by her family that lives in Colorado Springs: daughter Joann Harden; granddaughters Angela Harden and Noel Earl; great-granddaughters Isabella Cross and Serenity Earl; grandsons-in-law Sterling Earl and Justin Cross.

A visitation is scheduled for Monday, August 21 at 10:00a.m. at Blunt Mortuary, followed by a graveside service at 11:00a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Colorado Springs during the eclipse of the sun. Loka was a lover of the stars and all things astronomy.
