My deepest sympathy to the family, but I'm comforted she'll once again be able to have morning coffee with my mom, Gwen,- just in a better place. My memories are of the things the two of them used to do. Whether that was shopping, and their many "finds" or just spending time together. Know that she's smiling all the time!!

Sincere condolences to each one in your family! Lola was a very special lady with a sweet spirit! When I was 16 years old, I got my first job as a waitress at the Medallion. Lola was my boss! She was great! Shar, you may remember me (Sue MacKay) and Linda Brown as we worked there together -- the year was 1972. When Linda lived in Denver, we visited Lola at her home -- I think it was about 10 years ago. And also, over the years as I had occassions to visit Penrose Hospital, I talked with Lola and we laughed and remembered the old days. She was a loving and kind person and I will always remember her smile! I have a special place in my heart for her! God bless you all!
