Dear Scott, Jake and Katie,
Lori was my first associate teacher while in Teacher's College 13 years ago at Maidstone. Even to me, a University student, she was all the beautiful things everyone has to say about her here. I learned a lot from her and know that she has inspired many...including me. I pray for you as you both grieve and celebrate Lori's life!

Dear Mr. MacDonald, Jack and Kate

I had Mrs. MacDonald for JK and SK. I was very lucky to have her for two years in a row! She checked on me when I had a hard time at daycare so I felt better. When I heard that she had cancer I started to grow out my hair so I could donate it to make a cancer wig. I will always remember Mrs. MacDonald and she was a true Blazer!

Our son Quinton had the wonderful pleasure of being taught by Mrs Macdonald in kindergarten. She kindled his love of books and curiosity of knowledge. Mrs Macdonald always spent quality time mentoring with our oldest son Austin, giving words of wisdom and guidance. She touched all of us with her kind heart. I believe you're teaching with the angels now Mrs Macdonald! That will be a class to remember.

I taught with Lori at Roseland and she was a wonderful teacher, friend, mom, and person....not necessarily in that order. She was very supportive when I struggled with cancer. She will be missed by everyone who knew her as her infectious spirit and joie de vivre uplifted everyone in her presence. Greater Essex has lost a wonderful teacher; but more importantly your family has lost much more. My heart goes out to you and your family will be in prayers as you adjust to life without Lori. Much love; Jan Balmer
