Lucile "Lucy" O'Connell

Our beloved Lucile (Lucy) O'Connell took the hand of her Lord when she heard Him call on January 27, 2026. Lucy was born in Worth County, Missouri on November 30, 1933.
Lucy was a servant of Christ, a loving mother, and a devoted wife of 69 years to her late husband, Harold. She was predeceased by her son, JW, sister Ruth and brother JR. She is survived by her sons, Doug, Quintin, and Todd, daughters-in-law, Kathy, Roxane, and Rachael, 5 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Lucy is also survived by her brother Larry and sister Diane, and several nieces and nephews.
Lucy was a woman of faith who trusted in the Lord. While she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of her Savior and hearing the words, "Well done good and faithful servant," and resting in eternal peace.
Services for Lucy will be held on March 12th at 1:00 PM at Rocky Mountain Calvary Church, 4285 N. Academy Blvd. For those who will not be able to attend Lucy's Memorial, it will be streamed at https://boxcast.tv/view/lucy-oconnell-memorial-jfehlqbvwvemtjsws5yu
In honor and memory of Lucy, who loved to dress up, we would like for all to "dress to impress," wearing lots of BLING and anything that SPARKLES.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Crossfires at 3975 Academy Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO 80917, in her memory.
