Lura Fredrick Obituary

Sorry I'm so late, just found out about Lura. We used to work at Penrose where we became friends. I remember how much she loved music esp. the song Sentimental Lady. She soars with the angels now. Randy

Steve, our hearts hurt when we heard the news. Lura was such a bright spot in Section 11 at New Life where we sit with you. She was always interested in our family and especially my own health. We will miss her beautiful smile and encouragement each Sunday.

I am still trying to come to grips with this news. I have no words. I'm so sorry for your loss, Steve. The earth has lost one really amazing lady.

Lura was a classmate of mine at Palmer High School. After graduating, we lost touch and then I ran into her when she worked at Penrose Hospital. My mother was a nurse there and was hospitalized there. I ran into Lura during one of my visits to my mom -- and Lura was so genuinely gracious, comforting, and friendly when we had the chance to chat. She was truly a bright light in this world. Condolences to her family.

I knew Lura since I believe in 1997 when I first worked for her and Steve , it was at the old shop then . They were and are the bestest employers . She was too. She was always always there for me . We had great and fun talks . I loved her girls to the fullest . Still do. I'm their Auntie Jules she would say. This is the only job that I got rehired 5 times, haha who has ever done that ?? Time went on and and we remained close friends and house sat for her. I'll miss calling the shop and asking for her. Or let's have lunch , she'd add at your favorite place (HuHot )? She introduced it to me and the rest is history. I love you Lura ! ❤ I'll always be checking on the girls too.

My dear sweet cousin. It is so very hard to find the words to say. You were an angel and I am so happy I was able to be in your life. I have so many fond memories of you and will cherish them forever. I am so happy that whenever we were together we would make sure we took a "3 Luras" picture. I will miss you, your happy lovable contagious spirit but I know you are alright. I know you are watching over all of us. I love you Lura xoxoxoxoxo

Aunt Lou will truly be missed on this earth! Rejoice that her soul will be with our lord and she will continue to look after her loved ones from heaven.

Lura was one of the special ones. We knew her through our daughter, Linda Williams who has worked for Steve and Lura for many years. Lura was always a cheerful person who always asked about your family. Her bright smile and beautiful laugh will be greatly missed by all. Especially me when I come to visit my daughter at work

I met Lura at Penrose Hospital in 1976. She was a genuine woman with a beautiful smile and soul. Once you met her you would never forget her kindness, happiness and caring.
May Happy memories carry you through this difficult time.

Lura was my boss for 9yrs before she went to heaven I miss her everyday she brought so much laughter and joy to Shirt Stop. She was there for me through so difficult times in my life when I needed someone to listen. Heaven has definetly gained a beautiful angel, she will be forever in my heart. Love u Lura R.I.H

I knew Lura at Penrose Hospital and then years later, she recognized my voice when I was working on a campaign and she was making shirts. We had a long catch-up talk and she was her usual jovial self. I am sorry to hear of her death. You must be full of wonderful fun memories. I'm thinking of you.

Steve, Joy, and the rest of Lura's family, I have such fond memories of Lura. We lost a ray of sunshine and Heaven gained a shining star. Lura was such a beautiful person inside and out. I hope that the memories you hold will help comfort you. Your family is in my heart and prayers.
