Lynn Carlile Obituary

LYNN M. CARLILE
August 29, 1934 April 21, 2021
Lynn M. Carlile passed away peacefully on April 21st in Colorado Springs after a brief stay in hospice care. She was born August 29th, 1934 in Pittsburg, PA.
She is survived by Bob, her husband of 58 years, three children: Jim (Kristin) Carlile of Birmingham, AL; Elizabeth (David) Briggs of High Point, NC; Andrew (Sarah) Carlile of Monument, CO; and six grandchildren that were her pride and joy: Olivia & Jackson, Katherine & Victoria, and Amelia & Cameron.
Lynn and her husband moved to Colorado Springs when they retired in 1994. She was a very active member of her church, serving as a member of its Altar Guild for many years. She was an excellent chef and nothing pleased her more than cooking gourmet meals and desserts for her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to Grace and St. Stephens Episcopal Church, 601 N. Tejon Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. A memorial service is being planned for a future date at the church.
