Lynn Christopher "Chris" Griffiths

L. Christopher Griffiths ("Chris"), former resident of Colorado Springs, professor emeritus of Economics, and retired forensic economist, was 85 years old when he died recently in Arizona. Born in Ohio, Chris graduated from Colorado College, received his doctorate from the University of Colorado and, for 35 years, taught economics and a variety of other courses at C.C. He was also a community volunteer, watercolor artist, and a vocal and French horn musician. He is survived by his brother, wife, daughters, and granddaughters. Interment of ashes at Shrine of Remembrance, Colorado Springs, with no service planned. Chris asked that any memorial contribution be made to Wikipedia (via Wikimedia.org).

My condolences to the Griffiths family. I knew Chris for only a few years as a resident of Royal Oaks but was mightily impressed by the dept and breadth of his knowledge. He was a very generous man, sharing his time and talents with his fellow residents in the many presentations which he delivered, ranging from historical figures to chapters of the Great Decisions Program.
