LYNN GAIL KAAN

Lynn, 68, was called home to be with her Savior on February 7, 2021 when she passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at home. She was born on November 18, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to Earl Thomas and Sophia Louise Van Camp.
Lynn married Kevin Kaan in Colorado Springs on June 6, 1974 and they shared 46 wonderful and loving years together.
She is survived by husband Kevin, son Gerald Andrew (wife Rebecca), 4 grand children (Joshua, Austin, Jordan and Benjamin), three great-grand children (Asher, Selah and Kaizen), son Paul Jason (wife Laura), brother-in-law Dennis (wife Betty), nephews Michael and Eric and her best friend Judy.
Lynn was predeceased by her parents and brother, Eric Thomas Van Camp.
Lynn was a loving wife and mother who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She was always happy and positive despite several years of poor health. She enjoyed spending time with family, and sewing and making crafts for decorating and gifts. Vacation trips with the family to Florida and with Kevin to Hawaii and California were especially enjoyable for Lynn. She "tolerated" family trailer trips, but always managed to have fun.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 18th from 5PM to 7PM at the Swan Law Funeral Home. A graveside committal service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery on Friday, February 19th at 11:30AM.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Lynn's name to the giver's charity of choice.
