Lynn Pattison Obituary

Lynn Copley Pattison passed away on September 13th, after a long battle with cancer. Lynn moved to Colorado around 1974, along with many at that time. She lived here for the rest of her life although she maintained close contact with her family.
She is survived by her older brother, Mark, and her younger sisters, Laura and Wendy. All were here in Colorado Springs along with her niece, Anna, to support her and share their love for her. Her large and close family of nephews and nieces: Edward, Mary, Jordan and Anna; and her cousins and their families also traveled with Lynn on her journey. And Lynn's very large network of friends, who provided so much help and care for her during her illness and are still helping her family.
Lynn owned the Southwest Silver company, a jewelry business, in Manitou Springs.
She finished college and worked at LexisNexis publisher, and formerly for Shepard's Legal Citation company, for many years.
What set Lynn off from others is her incredible ability to develop lasting and meaningful relationships. She was drawn to those who, like her, had taken a different path.
She was passionate about her home, her garden, community causes and the world of government and politics.
She had strong opinions and was fully engaged in the world she lived in.
Lynn had so many different friends from many different parts of her life. In her later years, especially after she retired, she had her pool friends from the Y, her care teams, her garden friends, and many others.
Contributions can be made in memory of Lynn's life to Care and Share Food Bank of Southern Colorado, CareandShare.org.

My deepest sympathies for Lynn´s family. She was like a big sister to me, we met at Shepards years ago. I live in Denver now and was wondering if she has a final resting place that we can visit.

I am so sorry to hear about Lynnie. She was one of the nicest people I ever met, and from her frequent posts I saw that kept her strong spirit up throughout her fight against cancer. I have no doubt that she had a wondrous circle of friends around her, as well as her family. My heart goes out to you all.
