Charles Manning George was born on July 9, 1951, in Cherokee, OK, to June (Jett) and Bill George. Manning died on November 29, 2024, after an extended illness.
In 1954, his family moved to Colorado Springs. Manning attended Howbert Elementary, West Junior High and graduated from Palmer High School in 1969. He attended Adams State College and graduated in 1973 with a degree in Business. He worked in the liquor industry and the title insurance business using his skills as a salesman. He worked hard all his life because providing for his family was a priority for him.
Manning married Nancy McCullough in 1978. He is survived by Nancy and their three children, Elizabeth Dunne (Chris), Molly Royal (Jason), and Nicholas (Danielle). He had seven grandchildren, Jack, Ryan, Nathan, Natalie, Elly, Maia and Aila and two step grandchildren, Sarah and Elijah. Manning is also survived by his sister Becky Stanley (Sam) and two nephews, Jett and Josh Stanley.
Friendships were important to Manning and he had many that were lifelong. He was a good athlete and continued to enjoy sports throughout his life including fishing, hunting and motorcycle riding.
Manning will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Manning's service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 11:00 at St. George's Anglican Church, 217 E. Pikes Peak Avenue.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to St. George's Anglican Church.

I offer my sincere condolences to Manning´s family and many friends who grieve this loss. I attended junior high and high school with Manning. His mother was my 5th grade teacher! I know he will be missed by many.

Manning and I were quite the couple in High School, such a perfect Gentleman at all times ! Loved his Familyand was treated like one of their own .Rest in Peace Sweet Manning
