Marcia Duncan Obituary

Dear Duncan Family,
it's been such a long while since I was welcomed in your home. Miss Marcia- this lady was extremely kind to me. She bought me a collector's doll and we traded doll crafting secrets. I was an acquaintance of her son "Blue". I wish I'd been closer to her. She was a rare combination of beauty, whimsy, and wisdom. Such a lady.

Hello All,
I just want to say that my favorite aunt will be missed very much. I enjoyed talking to her and she always had something postivie to say or some type of helpful information for evcerybody.
She will be greatly missed

Dearest Bob and family,
The loss of Marcia is difficult to bear. We share your grief and our hearts break with yours. May God comfort you by surrounding you all with the loving embrace of friends and family. Praying that you receive strength to get through the next breath, the next step. I wish that saying good bye was not so very hard, but there is hope. Our treasure is in heaven. I can't wait to see them again! Praying that God heal your tender hearts. We love you and miss her so much. Marcia will forever be in our hearts.

Dear Robert and Family,
My sincere condolences in the lost of your wonderful wife, mother and my charter sorortiy sister. I will miss Marcia's soft spoken very postive and always creative thoughts. Though the last years of our friendship was shared miles apart, when we did meet we always seem to have started where we left off, with laughter and fun. We all should feel special to have to have known a person so gentle and kind. MARCIA, YOU WILL BE MISSED!!

Marcia was a very special lady and nurse. I feel blessed to have known her as a nurse colleague and friend. May you feel the Lord's loving embrace at this time; as she is celebrating with the Lord.

I had the honor of knowing Marcia as a member of the Council for Black Catholics, she was so very helpful with the deocrations for our annual Mardi Gra. She was always so very kind and joyous to share time with each time we would meet. I will never forget her BEAUTIFUL SMILE.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

Mrs. Duncan was an angel sent from God. She opened her heart to everyone and never judged. She was the person we should all try to be. We were all blessed to have had her in our life, even if it was a brief encounter. God bless her family who I love so much. She will now be your guardian angel in heaven instead of your angel on earth.

I knew you for only a short period, but in that short period you were a blessing to me

Marcia was a wonderful, gentle lady, who breathed peace into her surroundings. I was blessed to have worked with her at the original St Francis Hospital for many years.

I had the honor of interacting with Mrs. Duncan a handful of times. She was so kind! Literally 26 years later I still can recall her infectious smile and giving nature. There were 2-3 times that I gave one of her son's (my friend) a ride up to Boulder or back and she would always want to give me some cash for gas money. Mom's are a gift from God. The Duncan family has been blessed! I am praying for grace and peace during this time. (Marx)

Nana I will always miss you and you meant the world to me!! I know you knew how much you were loved! I have the best memories with you and love everything about you! I will never forget holiday's at your home and especially Christmas! I have never seen someone put so much work, love and dedication into decorating for Christmas, designing your beautiful dolls and angels! You were talented in so many ways and it is going to be so hard to not have you, your cooking and your laughter here but now I know I will always have you as my guardian angel. I will always treasure my memories and the dolls you graciously gave us all.
