Dear Granger Family, Your Mom was so dear to me and I'll miss her so deeply.
Here is an incredible happening: My Mom, Hollie G. is 97 and on last Sunday she announced that "Peg Granger has died". The amazing thing is no one told her. I guess they were more closely connected than anyone knew. Peg and I reacquainted 5 years ago when we moved to "the Canon". I would attempt to give her a ride to Mass up that long steep last hill, but she would say "she'd take longer getting in the car than it would take walking". That was my beloved Peg. My sincerest condolences to all of you.

Can you imagine the welcoming party at heaven's gate when your Mom arrived? I'm proud to share her name.

I am saddened to hear of her passing...She was a powerful intellect tinged with humor.

Dear Cousins - we spent most of yesterday (March 3) remembering your Mother as we paged through my Mom's photo albums. Your Aunt El is going to miss her terribly and their phone call visits, and the too few real visits. We send our love and prayers as you send Aunt Peggy off to join the others we already miss.

Hello Granger cousins - I'll echo Bridey's message in celebrating your beloved Mater's life, love and legacy.
I was blessed with her as my wonderful Aunt Peggy - so loving and supportive and I will miss her keenly. She's in the arms of your father now and so many of our Madden family angels too.
Love and comforting hugs to all of you, Mary

I wish I could give each of the Granger kids a big hug, Cono joins me in sadness. Peg was a blessing in our lives and I shall miss my Irish friend. "The likes of her will not pass this way again soon." I will pray to her,not for her.

My dearest Mary Jo, Kathleen and family. I'm so sorry about your mom. She was the delight of each and every day and an inspiration for all with her unfailing beliefs and her daily walk up Mayhurst. We will miss her terribly and her her green coat!
All our love and prayers
