On Saturday, June 4, 2022, Margaret Goodwin passed away in Colorado Springs, CO at the age of 87. Her battle with serious medical issues, including dementia, in recent years, showed her courage in facing life's challenges with a smile. She was a beloved mother and grandmother.
Margaret was born in Colorado Springs, CO on February 21, 1935, to Hartford and Evelyn Williamson and graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1953. She went to work for Alexander Film Company and married Bill Goodwin, a union to which three daugthers were born. Margaret went on to have a successful career working for the El Paso County 4th Judicial District Probation Department, from which she retired in 1986. Retirement gave her time to work outside taking care of her yard, flowers and also spend time with her grandchildren which she loved to do.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents, Hartford and Evenlyn Williamson; stepfather, Hobert Herman; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Bill Sharp; two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Merriah; and nephew, Bob Sharp.

Margaret is survived by daughter, Jolene McConnaughhay (ex-Mac); daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Mark Chisman; daughter and son-in-law, Jerri and Benny Kitten; granddaughter, Crystal (Karyn); grandson, Colin (Caitie); great-granddaughters, Lilly and Brooklyn; and niece Pam Sharp (Roxie).

No service will be held. Private family tribute is planned for a future date.
