Margaret Jean Jackson died January 1, 2021, at Hildebrand Care Center in Canon City, due to COVID and Parkinson's disease. She was born to Alfred and Tena Ruben Kloepfer in Colorado Springs. She attended Colorado Springs High School. She married Walter Jackson, also of Colorado Springs and they were married for sixty two years, fishing, camping, traveling and dancing together. She lived most of her life in Colorado Springs, until poor health made it necessary to move to Canon City. She is survived by two daughters, Fran Miller of Canon City, and JoAnn Hall (DeWayne) of Peyton. Surviving also are three grandchildren: Dr. Mollie Miller, Luke Miller (Elizabeth), and Travis Mahorney, and great grandsons Dhonn, Jackson and Jacob Miller. Her parents and son-in-law Frank Miller preceded her in death. Margaret was a homemaker who loved to cook and she worked in the title insurance business. She was active in the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary. Due to COVID, no services will be held. Arrangements by Memorial Gardens, 3825 Airport Rd, Colorado Springs 80910.

Walt and Margaret were both very near and dear to Darrel and I, as neighbors and as friends. I always knew there would be a pot of flowers on my front step every year on May 1. She was such a wonderful lady.
